Seasonal Gardens Worker (Part-Time)

$15/hr | March–September | Thursday–Saturday

If you want a role where your work actually matters, Bittersweet Farms is looking for a Seasonal Gardens Worker to support our Gardens Program. You’ll grow produce, work with your hands, learn horticulture skills, and contribute to programs that support individuals with autism.
This is a great fit for someone who likes staying active, enjoys nature, and wants a job that feels meaningful—not just another shift.
Your Schedule
- Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
This schedule is fixed, so you’ll always know exactly when you’re working.
What You’ll Do
- Planting, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting crops
- Mixing soil and prepping beds
- Maintaining greenhouses and garden areas
- Hand‑harvesting fruits and vegetables
- Supporting daily garden operations across fields, hoop houses, and greenhouses
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who leads with empathy and respects others
- A team player who communicates clearly
- Patience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle active, physical tasks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with gardening is a plus, but not required
