Non-Medical Transportation Driver
Help us redefine what is possible and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with Autism! Bittersweet, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides residential, vocational, and recreational services to individuals with autism.
Bittersweet is seeking an employee to work a split shift, part-time as a non-medical transportation driver.
Driver will transport/load/unload and or assist individuals with developmental disabilities in our company owned vehicles. NMT driver will work around 25 hours per week. This will be a split shift that includes a morning and afternoon route Monday-Friday.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Part-Time
- Split Shifts
- Morning Route: 7:00AM-10:00AM
- Afternoon Route: 2:00PM-4:00PM
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Bend, twist, and crouch.
Essential Responsibilities: Operates motor vehicle in adherence to agency, local, and state laws, rules and regulations. Work cooperatively with other staff, the individuals served, families and other agencies in completion of duties assigned. Carry out basic written/oral instructions(often detailed); read/copy/record figures accurately. Maintain/complete required logs and reports.
Qualifications: Most posses valid Ohio Drivers License and be insurable under our vehicle insurance. Must meet all pre-service physical requirements, (physical, drug and alcohol testing) and background check. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to drive both AM & PM routes.
All training is provided and paid for by Bittersweet.
